The Urbana Adult Education Group is offering two one time, 3 hour
long, classes in October that may be of interest to those ladies that
love to dazzle the crowd.

Learn about needles, thread, and beads to use for lasting
embellishments. You'll experiment with color and design possibilities,
using scatter, lazy, lazy back, and couching stitches. Time flies in
this information-packed, hands on class. Materials provided include:
embroidery hoop, fabrics, needles made for embroidery, thread and a range
of beautiful beads. Please bring your scissors for trimming threads.

Fringing is fun! Learn ways to add swing to your scarf, lamp, gloves,
purse, wedding gown, anything that needs a change in style! We'll make a
sampler of elegant to casual fringes so you can see which ones you like
the most. Materials provided include ribbons, threads, needles, and a
variety of beads. Please bring you scissors for trimming threads
