Yahna Awazu (DI Public Relations chairperson) and Jennifer Jones (DI
member) have volunteered to organize a formation team! They will be
leading the effort to find team members, find a choreographer and a coach,
and schedule coaching sessions and practices.
A formation team is a group of dancers who learn a choreographed dance
routine and give performances. The dances can be ballroom, latin, or
nightclub (Salsa/Swing/Hustle, etc) dances, or even a Jazz dance routine.
You typically spend a few weeks learning the routine, and then a few weeks
honing your dancing skills, so there's something in it for everyone. You
can even get costumes from Krannert.
Being a member of a formation team is a lot of fun and you're guaranteed to
