The Tango Society of Central Illinois is hosting a milonga (tango social
dance) at the Phillips Recreation Center (505 W Stoughton, Urbana) this
Saturday October 20. The schedule for the evening is as follows:
(1) 7:30 - 9:30 PM - Tango Crash Course
Cost: $10, includes admission to subsequent milonga
- Instructors Ron & Susana will give you a rapid introduction to the core of
tango - Lead & follow technique, musicality, and fundamentals of navigation.
- No partner required

After that you may follow up with
Tango Fundamentals Express
Mondays 8:15 - 10:15 PM
Oct 15 - Nov 12 (5 weeks)
Cost: $40, but we will apply the $10 for the Cash Course towards your
tuition, so it will cost $30 for the remaining 4 weeks.
- The Saturday Crash Course is equivalent to the first lesson of Tango
Fundamentals Express.

(2) 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM - Milonga | Cost: $5
- DJ Ron will play the best classic tango music for dancing.
Light refreshments (soft drinks and snacks) will be available.
There will be drawings for a CD giveaway, one around 10:30 PM and another
around 11:30 PM. The winner will be able to choose from among a collection
of classic tango CDs.
