Dear Dancers,
I will be offering a new series of Carlota's Tango Technique class beginning
this coming Sunday March 5, 2:30 - 3:30 pm. The next classes will meet every
other Sunday, March 19 and April 2.
This is an excellent chance to brush up on your technique for upcoming
classes and workshops.
Remember ladies, bring comfortable flats (jazz, ballet or martial arts
shoes) or low heeled, flexible shoes. Men wear a comfortable shoe with
smooth sole that allows you to pivot. This is designed as an exercise class
that you take solo, so we won't be dancing with partners.

CARLOTA'S TANGO TECHNIQUE FOR WOMEN AND MEN

Carlota's tango technique is a series of exercises for individuals designed
to improve skills in posture, balance, axis, alignment, torsion, pivoting,
turning and flexibility.
The classes provide a method for training yourself in the core physical
movements of Argentine tango. Strengthen your repertoire of movement skills
and build confidence for dancing with any partner. Discover how
embellishments and styling stem from functional technique.
Learn how to execute your tango moves with style and precision.
Dates: Sundays, March 5, 19 and April 2.
Time: 2:30-3:30 PM
Location: Regent Ballroom
Fees: $15 for one class; $30 for all three.
Structure: One hour of individual training exercises led to music by
Carlota.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - NO PARTNER NECCESSARY - OPEN TO EVERYONE
Register at the Regent Ballroom in advance, or come early before class time.
