One of two ensembles created by the legendary Bolshoi dancer Sergei Radchenko, this ensemble of fifty principal dancers focuses on upholding the grand national tradition of the major Russian ballet works. Last seen in the US in 1999, their triumphal return will feature a performance of Petipa's La Bayadere, a tragic tale set in India of a temple dancer (la bayadere) and her lost love.
