Friends,
The swing, charleston and lindy hop variations that became dances
of their own are called the "Collegiate Shag" and the "Balboa." The
classes already started this week, but you can still sign up. Please call
the Urbana Park District at 367-1544 and sign up. Cost is $30 for the
entire 6 weeks. If you already are taking a dance class this session,
please state that and you will receive $5 off. Or just come on Monday at
8:30pm at the Phillips Rec. Center on Springfield and McCullough in Urbana
(10 minutes walk east of campus).
