Re: build script in charm++-5.9 does not find mpicc or mpicxx for mpi-linux version

the build line for charm++ does not say which compiler your are
requesting. So be default it is picking mpiCC and of course this is not a
recognized command on your system.
Two paths to solve this. One, do as you said and "sentenv mpiCC mpicxx"
or make a soft link to mpicxx.

The more involved and precise method is to edit the conv-mach.sh file in
charm/src/arch/mpi-linux/conv-mach.sh
to make it look for the correct command.
