I wanted to send out a big Thank You to Jay Tsai, our Competition Chair,
for making this year's Competition/Workshop such a success. We exceeded
previous attendance records by more than 50 people, nearly running out of
numbers (not to mention time).

The competition is a huge event to plan and execute, even with the help of
all the wonderful volunteers. Above and beyond that, Jay also took over
responsibility for this semester's workshop, dealing with a last minute
panic over the loss of the Courtyard for the workshop. Everything ran
like clockwork (more or less :). All in all, it was Jay's focus and
leadership which made it all come together so well. I'm proud to have you
as an officer, SmurfBoy :)

To all those volunteers who helped out, thank you for your time and
effort. No one person could ever handle such a big job without people
like you.

And, to all the competitors (who read this list? :)), thank you for
attending and I hope you had as much fun as I did! I hope to see you all
back for our 1998 Intercollegiate Social (keep your eye on our web page
for details as they occur).

Yours in Dance,
