Course: Beginner "A" Waltz, Cha cha and Salsa Course, 8 weeks long Date: Thursdays, June 13 to August 1. Time: 7:45 to 9:15pm. Cost: $20 for UI students, faculty and staff, DI members & registered participants ( Only $25 total for those taking both Beginner A and B! ) ( Non-students/faculty/staff may become "registered participants" for $10 ) Location: June 13, Opera Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center. June 20 - July 25, Drama Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center. July 4 - no class. Make-up day Monday July 8. August 1, Illini Union. Instructor: Tanja Hodges Prerequisites: None. No experience, no partner necessary! No dress code. Curriculum: Beginning level instruction in Waltz, Cha cha and Salsa

Location: Drama Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center. Instructor: Ruth Ann Nichols Prerequisites: Beginner level dance experience, but knowledge of Merengue is not required.
Course: Nightclub 2-step workshop, 2 classes only Date: July 9, and July 16 Time: 9:15 to 10:15pm. Cost: $3 per class for DI members & registered participants, $5 per class for everyone else. Location: Drama Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center. Instructor: Tanja Hodges on July 9, Henry Neeman on July 16 Prerequisites: Beginner level dance experience, but knowledge of Nightclub 2-step is not required.
Course: Hustle workshop, 1 class only Date: July 23 Time: 9:15 to 10:15pm. Cost: $3 for DI members & registered participants, $5 for everyone else. Location: Drama Rehearsal Room, Krannert Center. Instructor: Paul Jones Prerequisites: Intermediate Hustle or equivalent experience Curriculum: Review and strengthen critical fundamentals with emphasis on footwork and leading/following. Fun step combinations will then build on these skills.
Course: Polka workshop, 1 class only Date: July 30 Time: 9:15 to 10:15pm. Cost: $3 for DI members & registered participants, $5 for everyone else. Location: Illini Union. Instructor: T.B.A. Prerequisites: Beginner level dance experience, but knowledge of Polka is not required.
Course: Effective teaching workshop series Date: T.B.A. Time: T.B.A. Cost: $3 for DI members & registered participants, $5 for everyone else. Location: T.B.A. Instructor: Amy, Andrew, Henry, Bruce Prerequisites: Beginner A & B and an interest in teaching. This is a required workshop for anyone planning to teach a Dancing Illini class. Curriculum: Including but not limited to: developing a curriculum, how to break down a step, pacing your class, music choices, dealing with the electronics.
Course: Brazilian Dancing, 1 class only Date: T.B.A. Time: T.B.A. Cost: $3 for DI members & registered participants, $5 for everyone else. Location: T.B.A. Instructor: Ronaldo Ichiyama Prerequisites: Beginner dance experience Curriculum: Real Brazilian Lambada and/or Samba.
