    Wed Jan 28 [8:30 - 10 PM] - FUNDAMENTALS OF MILONGA (4 wk course) begins.
    Cost: $24 (not $28, as stated previously) includes Practica Thurs Feb 12:
    8:30-10 PM.
    At the Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W Stoughton, Urbana. Registration:
    367-1544.

    This course focuses on building a repertoire of steps in milonga that can be
    combined in numerous ways (improvisation) with the goal of navigating around
    the dance floor. Effective techniques of leading and following will be taught.
    Relationship of step combinations to the rhythm of milonga will also be
    addressed. This course is recommended for those who desire to expand their
    improvisational skills (leaders and followers roles) and the ability to connect with
    the music. Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge of tango.
