During the Winter Session (Jan - Mar) the Tango Society of Central Illinois
is offering instruction in tango at the beginner level, as follows:
(1) Mon Jan 26 [8:15 - 10:15 PM] - Introductory Tango Workshop. Cost: $7
This will include performances by Tango Society instructors and students,
followed by an introductory tango lesson.
(2) Mon Feb 2 [8:30 - 10 PM] - FUNDAMENTALS OF TANGO (6 wk course) begins
Includes additional practice session Mon Feb 23. Cost: $36
Learn a basic repertoire of tango steps and how to navigate around the dance
floor. Learn to connect with your partner and the music. Graduates of this
class will be ready to dance tango socially with a good repertoire of steps.
(3) Sat Feb 7 [7:30-10 PM] - Pre-Milonga Lesson "Introduction to Tango"
Cost: $7 (includes subsequent milonga)
You can still join the ongoing Monday night Fundamentals of Tango class
without a loss of material.
If you are a newcomer to tango or youi would like to review basic tango
skills, we look forward to seeing you soon. If you are experienced in tango,
