Summer Argentine Tango Courses,
Plus Two Special Topics Lessons w. Joe & Carlota
Sponsored by Tango Argentino at the University of Illinois
Class 1 - Beginner's Level II (7-8 pm)
A continuation of beginner's tango, this class will review basics, and
develop skills for partner connection and navigation on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: any introduction to Tango, or consent of instructors.
Class 2 - Intermediate Topics (8-9 pm)
This class will explore how to play when you dance tango. We will play with
rhythm, timing, embellishments and improvisation (for both men and women)
using simple movement vocabulary. Prerequisite: any beginning level tango
course, or consent of instructors.
Time: Tuesdays, May 22 - June 12
Tuition Fees: $30 per class
