Chances are that if you don’t get an answer, it is because you didn’t provide enough information, and no one feels like spending their time dragging it out of you.
People aren’t annoyed with questions because someone is a novice; they’re annoyed by questions that don’t show an appropriate level of effort or provide enough background to be answerable.
