 From reading the release notes, NAMD 2.11 requires a cuda compatibility
version > 1. This sounds like a pretty old card. Does it meet the
requirements? That would explain why 2.9 works and 2.11 doesn't, since
my understanding is that 2.11 is the first release to take advantage of
some hardware features the older cards didn't have, and started dropping
support for some older cards.
