Unlikely, as it's depending upon a specific CUDA call that I'm guessing
whatever driver you installed doesn't support. But you could try;
assuming you're familiar with compiling it might be quicker to try than
to start putzing with drivers.

Since you mentioned a GeForce GT 650M ... are you doing this on a
laptop? On a macbook pro, or something else? Retina display? Running
linux in a VM inside MacOS, or natively on the hardware? Or are you
attempting to run NAMD with GPU support within MacOS (ie no linux)?
