CUDA supported GPUs and their specs are listed here:

whenever the "compute capability" jumps to a new major
version, the CUDA code may need some updates to make
the best use of those capabilities. but you should be
able to run with backwards compatibility for as long as
those GPUs are supported by an NVIDIA driver with
CUDA support.
