Dear NAMD users,

Can you share your experience on running NAMD on the new Intel i7 (quad
core) systems? Do 8-core jobs on i7 run faster than 8-core (single node)
jobs on comparable Intel/AMD processors?

We are planning to get some Intel i7 workstations that will also be used
for NAMD jobs.

Please note that I am referring to solely CPU based jobs.
