Anyone having problems under Solaris 7?

Hi,

I am running NAMD 2.5 under Solaris 7 SPARC 64 bit. About 50% of the
time the program exits with the error message: "couldn't set locale
correctly". I read under google that this is the OS and NOT NAMD. I
read that there are solutions/ workarounds for this error, but they
appear to be different depending on what software is generating the
problem. Does anyone know of a solution in NAMD?

If it helps, I am using bsub for multithreading. The command line I
use to start the program is:
bsub -q QUE -n 10 -Ip namd2 SCRIPT
