Hi,

You can use any standard Tcl command in a configuration file. There is a
list at http://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.3/TclCmd/contents.htm

NAMD-specific Tcl commands are listed in the NAMD manual at
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/namd/2.5/ug/node11.html#SECTION00052200000000000000
