Have you tried calling namd preceded by the `nohup` command and
finishing the line with `&`?
 
Ex. `nohup charmrun namd2 +p<procs> <configfile> &`

I have a small cluster which runs NAMD with Clustermatic (Linux Red Hat
8.0). Can anyone please tell me how, from a remote login using ssh, one
can logout leaving the NAMD run going?
