Hello Dancing Illini,

We will hold our third general practice of the summer tonight
(Wednesday, July 1) from 8:00 - 10:00 pm at the Krannert
Center for the Performing Arts in the Opera Rehearsal Room on
the 2nd floor. At 8:30 we will interrupt practice for a...

*** FREE 15 MINUTE SWING SWEETHEART HEADLOOP QUICKIE ***

...taught by our very own Bruce Leasure.

Everyone is welcome, especially ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS. There is
no better place than Wednesday night practice to review what
you learned in class, ask questions, or just get to know your
fellow dancers better. More experienced dancers are usually
happy to dance with beginners (we get to feel like we're really
smart and talented that way) and all of the dances from our
classes will be played. If you don't know one of the dances,
do something else that seems to fit. It's only practice!
(You might want to clear it with your partner, though, and
stay out of the way of people who are circulating.)

We really hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Jim Phillips

Dancing Illini Secretary and Webmaster
