Sorry this didn't go out sooner, but this Saturday, June 27, Kathryn
Schaffer will be coaching the DanceSport team from Noon - 4pm at the Top
of the Levee Studio in Monticello.
Because of the general chaos of Summer and because we want to get as
many people to take advantage of this as possible, I have opened this
next session open to everyone and anyone interested in seeing what it
means to have a coach.
The schedule is:
12pm - 2pm : Advanced DanceSport. Here, Kathryn will be working on
basic bronze figures with a strong focus on technique. Partner required
(Though we have lots of extra guys).
2pm - 4pm: Beginner DanceSport. Hopefully, we will have some of the
Advanced dancers staying around for this part. Kathryn will be teaching
figures with a strong focus on footwork and basic instruction.
At Monday's class (from 8-9pm), I will start collecting fees which will
be set based on overall interest in the program. I will have sign-up
sheets at both this Saturday's session with Kathryn and Monday's class
with Bruce and Hilary.
PS- I have at least 1 space in my car, maybe 2, for anyone interested in
going.
