Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
Tell your friends! Take a chance! Do it this summer! Learn to dance!
Dancing Illini is offering four BEGINNER courses starting THIS WEEK:
Rumba & Samba, Quickstep & Tango, Swing & Waltz, and Salsa & Cha Cha.
Courses meet for six weeks, June 23 - July 29, in 314 Illini Union.
Repeat students are welcome in all courses. No partner required.
Courses:
Beginner Rumba & Samba
Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45pm, 6 weeks starting June 23, 314 Illini Union
taught by David & Elvan, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Beginner Quickstep & Tango
Wednesdays, 8:15-9:30pm, 6 weeks starting June 23, 314 Illini Union
taught by David & Wei, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Beginner Swing & Waltz
Thursdays, 6:30-7:45pm, 6 weeks starting June 24, 314 Illini Union
taught by Jim & Jiin, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Beginner Salsa & Cha Cha
Thursdays, 8:15-9:30pm, 6 weeks starting June 24, 314 Illini Union
taught by Tanja & May, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. Your $30 membership (or $35
registration if non-UIUC) entitles you to one 6-week course.
Additional courses this summer are free if space is available.
Prices are per person; there is no couples discount.
EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL: Save $5 on membership if you pay the first week!
Want to get all your Dancing Illini classes for free? Volunteer some
of your time and enthusiasm as an officer! If you are interested
please email dancing at illinois dot edu. Elections are held in April.
Where We Dance:
The Regent Ballroom has dancing most Fridays, 8-11pm, $8. The music
starts out strictly ballroom and shifts to nightclub (e.g., hustle and
west coast swing) as the night goes on, so join your DI friends at the
