Hi all,
Don't forget our Memorial Day Weekend Cookout this ***Saturday***.
When: Saturday, May 29th, 2010, party and grilling starts at 4pm.
Arrive as late as you like, but the grill may be cold.
What: There will be some lawn chairs, but please bring your own seating
if possible. Dancing Illini will provide brats, beef burgers, boca
burgers, and some non-alcoholic beverages.
Contributions of beverages, appetizers, salads, or deserts are
welcome. But if you don't have any of that, please come anyhow, we've
always got plenty to eat.
Where: Lisa and Tony's, 2468 County Road 900E, Champaign (if you need a
ride, e-mail dancing+officers@uiuc.edu by Friday and we'll find you one.)
Take Mattis Avenue north out of Champaign. (Mattis Avenue is on
the west side of town, you may actually want to look at a map.) You will
come to Olympian Drive where there is a Dairy Queen and a gas station.
Continue driving north. You will eventually come to an S curve in the
road where the speed limit drops to 40. Follow the S curve. The house is
the first one on the right after the road straightens out. It's tan with
a blue roof. They have several outbuildings. If you get to route 136,
you have gone way too far.
