What: Social Dance at the Regent Ballroom ( www.regentballroom.com )
When: 7:30 until 10:30 ----a mix of Ballroom, Latin and Nightclub music.
10:30 to 11:00 ---Argentine Tango music
11:00 to 1:00 --- Salsa Dance (mainly salsa and merengue music)
Where: 1406 Regency Drive West, Savoy
Cost: $7 per person before 10:30
$4 per person after 10:30
Note: There is a dress code----no jeans, T-shirts, or tennis shoes are permitted at the dance.
Saturday Night 9/7/02
What: Dancing Illini Social Dance and FREE cha cha lesson
When: 8:30 to 9:30 ---Free introduction to cha cha lesson, with Yuri Sohn
9:30 to 12:00 ---Tango, Salsa, Cha Cha, Waltz, Hustle, Swing and other dance music.
Where: Illini Union, Room 314
Cost: Free!!!
No partners, experience, or special clothing required.
