The next Dancing Illini workshop is only two days away!
It will be taught by Andrew and Michelle Tate on Sunday, March 3rd in
Illini Union Room 314. The schedule is
12:15 - 2:05 pm: Workshop
2:05 - 2:15 pm: Informal demo by Andrew and Michelle
Preregistration is not necessary, so just show up and have fun! The
workshop will cover technique in both dances, and will also introduce
some new steps in both. Anyone with latin dance experience is
encouraged to attend.
The workshop is FREE for current Dancing Illini members (those who are
currently taking classes or those who have paid this semester's
membership dues).
Non-members (who are affiliated with the U of I - students, faculty,
staff) may become members and attend the workshop for $10.
Others (non-UIUC) may be come registered participants and attend for
$15.
For those who haven't met Andrew and Michelle, they started dancing
and met each other through the Dancing Illini, and they have moved on
to serious amateur competitions where
they have done very well. If you haven't ever seen them dance, you
can't miss this workshop!
