What: Dinner and Dancing
When: Friday, March 1st
Dinner: 6:00 to 7:30pm
Dancing 7:30pm to ??? There is ballroom dancing that goes until 11:00, followed by two hours of salsa dancing. That means dancing could end as late as 1AM if you choose to stay for the entire evening.
Where: Biaggi's Located at 2235 S. Neil
Dancing at The Regent Ballroom-1406 Regency Drive West (Savoy)
(Both establishments are around 1.5 miles South of the corner at Kirby and Neil)
Cost: Dinner--- Probably around $10-15 dollars depending on what you order.
Dancing: Admission $7.00; however, the first 20 people to reserve a spot with me and show up at the restaurant will receive a coupon for $5 off the admission to the Regent that evening.
Why: Because the Regent is a great place to try out all those cool dance moves, and face it, you LOVE to dance. They play all the dances that you know plus a few that you don't. It's also time to celebrate your "graduation" from another set of awesome dance classes-or maybe you'd just like to have some fun. Either way, we hope you can make it.
If you don't have a ride, but still want to go, don't worry about it. Many members have cars and would be more than happy to take you along. People usually continue to arrive and leave at various points in the evening, so we should be able to work something out.
So, if you want to come you need to let me know by 10:00 a.m Thursday Feb. 28th, so that I can give the restaurant a final number. You can let me know either by email ekass@ uiuc.edu. If you could write dinner dance as the subject heading it would help ever so much. If email isn't your thing, and you want to talk to a human, or at least to an answering machine you can always call.
