DANCING ILLINI SWING AND SALSA WORKSHOPS
Don't forget that this Sunday the Dancing Illini is hosting
instructor Chris Martin all the way from New York city. He is an
accomplished instructor (and a great entertainer!) and he is
guaranteed to make you laugh and challenge your dancing skills.
Chris will be teaching two workshops in Illini Union Room 314A:
11:00am - 11:30pm: Registration
11:30am - 1:00pm: East Coast Swing workshop
1:15pm - 2:45pm: Salsa workshop
Experience with swing and salsa is highly recommended.
Cost is only $5 per workshop for Dancing Illini members (those who
have paid for classes or those who have paid this semester's
membership dues). For non-members, cost is $10 for the first workshop
and $5 for the second. Non-members may become members by paying $10
(affiliated with the U of I - students, faculty, staff), or $15
(non-UIUC). Checks should be made out to the Dancing Illini.
NOTE TO NON-MEMBERS: Please consider becoming a member of the Dancing
Illini. We will be having at least one more workshop this semester,
which will be FREE to members.
Time is getting short to register by mail, but you can still register
in advance by bringing a check (made out the Dancing Illini) to the
Freer Gym on Thursday between 8pm and 10:45pm (during our classes).
We have limited space in the room so early registration is encouraged.
