Queridos Tangueros,
By now you've probably felt the excitement of the rapid growth of the
Argentine tango community in central Illinois. Over the last 4 months we've
added a monthly milonga at the Phillips Center and have had 2 visits from
expert tango instructors Alberto Paz and Valorie Hart, who have given
numerous workshops. As a group we are improving our dancing and we are being
joined by new tangueros almost daily. In particular, we are pleased to have
the tangueros from Bloomington join us in our main center of activity in
Champaign-Urbana. If you haven't joined us yet, now is the time!
This weekend will be the biggest Argentine tango weekend in Central Illinois

If you missed Woodstock, you definitely do not want to miss the first Tango
Weekend Festival in Central Illinois. Our dance floor is better and the
restrooms are clean. If you attended Woodstock, it's about time you relived
the experience!!
