There are 2 things I forgot to mention:
1. Should we SHAG now? Tuesday (tomorrow) at Legends, there will be
free beginner swing lessons from 9 to 9:30pm. But from 9:30 to 10:15,
there will be a free beginner Shag and Balboa lesson. At least some
previous swing or lindy experience is recommended for this second part
of the lesson. The Shag and the Balboa were dances that co-evolved and
became popular in the 30's, and they're really fun to dance to and to
integrate into Swing and Lindy. Shag and Balboa are probably going to
become more and more popular, as swingers and lindy hoppers step out of
their reference frame and seek more. Andy Weaver, Laura Naughton, and I
were up in Chicago this entire weekend learning from the masters, and
I've been practicing teaching them all day, so if you're ready, I'm
ready... See ya at 9:30.
2. This Saturday, there is an IVCF (InterVarsity Christian Fellowship)
Swing Dance at the Union. This is all the info I have right now. For
