Dear tango dancers (and listeners),

Interested in Tango? Here are some ideas for this weekend.

Well, first of all, David Lin is giving a free mini Argentine Tango lesson
this Friday, January 29. You folks that want a clear introduction to the
basics will love this. At the Regent, 7:30 PM. Stay afterwards for the
ballroom dance.

Then, on Saturday, January 30, my absolute favorite local Tango-playing
orchestra, the Guerilla Parlour Ensemble, is playing at the Bread Company,
on Goodwin in Urbana (8-10 pm). Listen to the sounds of David's classic
bandoneon. Find a spot to dance. (Later, walk over to the Union to salsa
with Adelante.)

On Sunday, everyone is invited to open Tango Practica at White Street 7-9 PM.
(I don't have any suggestions for what to do after that. :-) )
