Here are some Tango happenings this weekend.
1. The partly Tango band, the Guerrilla Parlour Ensemble, is back
in action, and will be holding forth at the Cafe in
Borders Bookstore in Champaign tonight, this Friday (July 17) evening, from 8
to 10. ( Tell them you came to hear Tango, and make them a "mostly" Tango
band!
;-) )
2. The Regent will have an Argentine Tango set before the Salsa set
Friday night. Starting around 11 or a little before. Get there on time
or you'll miss it, because Salsa starts at 11:30!!
3. As usual, Argentine Tango Practica this Sunday, open to all.
