... but then, nothing worthwhile is!

Hello all,

I want to officially thank all the incoming officers for stepping up and
taking on the responsiblilty of the club for the upcoming year. It's
heartening to see so many enthusiastic, positive new people getting
involved. I am confident that the club will continue to present
high-quality (and fun) classes and events. I think you are all very
fortunate... being an incoming Dancing Illini officer will be easier
than ever before (with that huge body of information archived on web page)!

I had planned to save this post for the end of this month... when the
1996-1997 officers' actually vacate their posts. But, as others have
pointed out, people withhold praise too often... so it can't hurt to
post more than once. :-)

I want to thank those officers' that did their jobs faithfully and well.
I wish to praise the instructors for presenting such wonderful classes.
I send out my hopes that the dance teams will continue to thrive,
and my well-wishes to the new officers. Most of all, I thank Mark BAlzer
for always acting in the best interests of the club, and for
successfully guiding the completion of so many high-quality events,
including: the competition, classes, workshops, seminars, and the
intercollegiate social!

It's great to see the club finish this year in such fine form!
Have a great summer everyone.
