Thank you Mark, for the reminders.

Everyone, We should all take this month to get our respective
position-related information in order. The future of the DI depends on
the knowledge you have accumulated during the past year (or years, as the
case may be). Please take some time to create a record of just what it
is you do. All of this information can be housed on the Web
administration pages.

Do you make repeated announcements or ads? Archive a copy of the text.
Do you have tasks that need to be done at the same times every year or
semester? Please, make a task-calendar.
Do you have contact with the outside world? Please record who is the
correct person to contact, how to contact them, and how they
like to be bribed. :-)
Do you currently store any DI equipment? Cooler, banner, music, T-shirts...
etc.

Arranging the information you've relied on shouldn't take TOO long, and
it will be of immesurable value to future officers. (and if you plan to
run again, a once-a-year self-organization frenzy can only help _you_ in
the future)

Also, keep in mind that we need to have an officers' meeting this month,
and we should plan a pass-the-info meeting with the new officers' soon
after the elections. Then, we are free to enjoy that end-of-the-semester
dinner with the officers, chairpersons and instructors with a clear conscience!

see you all dancing.
