Kudos to David for helping get new people to come to the Regent,
people who might not have come last night without the free lesson,
but who probably will come back just for the sake of the practice.
Also for coming up with the idea of quickies in the first place,
way back in the summer of 1992.
By the way, if you like having the quickies at the beginning of
practice instead of in the middle, either because it gets people
out to the Regent on time, or because you get seventy-five minutes
of uninterrupted practice time afterwards with a lot of partners,
you might mention it to the officers in charge of practices. They've
been saying since before the year started how important the members'
opinions are in deciding how the club is run.
