To the hostess Sara, a very good friend of mine, I suggested that
she invite the Dancing Illini to teach a quickie or two and demo
a couple of dances.
She has also plans to invite the Folk Dance Club in town for 45-60
minutes of the evening to teach a few dances.
If people in the club are interested, I could talk her into giving
us the same amount of time. We could use this as a recruitment
effort since the dance will be attended by several International
(including American as well) students and it is being held just in
time for or before our beginner classes.
I will be there and I encourage anyone else that is interested to
please let me know or be there between 7-10, there being the "Etc"
on the SW corner of Goodwin and Green streets. If a group endeavor
seems likely, and it indeed could be like our graduation dance except
for an hour utmost, I would urge a quick decision so Sara may be
briefed and appropriate plans and allocations be made.
