Fun Dancing @ Phillips Center Fri 1/20 and Sun 1/22

        There will be a contra dance this Friday, January 20 at the Phillips Center. The Farmer's Market String Band will be hosting an open band night and invite local musicians to come and join them playing for the dance. The callers for the evening will be Tom Anderson and Scott Meyer.

        On Sunday, January 22, there will be an English country dance at the Phillips Center from 3 to 5 p.m. If you enjoy contra dance you might like to give English a try. It is similar enough to be familiar, but different enough to be interesting. The Flatland Consort will be playing and Susan Burt, Jane Hobgood and Jonathan Sivier will be leading the dances.

        I hope to see everyone at one or more of the dances this weekend.
