The Tango Society Calendar is set for the first 6 months of 2005. Here it is
by category. Details will follow as events come closer in time. All activities
are at th Phillips Recreation Center (550 W Stoughton, Urbana) unless stated
otherwise.
WORKSHOPS
Apr 2-3: Brigitta Winkler (Berlin & New York)
- Internationally recognized instructor of tango for 25 years. Also a stage
performer. Started Berlin tango community, largest outside Buenos Aires. Expert
in numerous tango styles. Will teach milonguero style in workshops.
MILONGAS
Saturdays 9:30 PM - 12:30 AM (possible later) $5
Pre-milonga lessons 8:00 - 9:30 PM $7+
