Hi Dancers, Music Lovers, and Friends of Both,
The Noisy Gators have two shows this weekend that might be of interest to you & yours.
On Friday, Oct. 1, the Gators play at Verde Gallery as part of a new music series. The "Acoustic Fusion" is designed to provide a mix acoustic music in an all-ages, smoke-free setting. This series was put together by local singer-songwriter Joni Laurence and the Gators are paired with Joni for this first in what we hope will be a long series at Verde Gallery. Joni takes the stage 8-9pm with the Gators following from 9:30-10:30. Verde Gallery is located in downtown Champaign on Taylor Street, between Radio Maria and the Cowboy Monkey.
On Sat., Oct. 2, the Gators will be playing as part of "Harvest-Fest", sponsored by the Champaign Park District. This event will be at Prairie Farm in Centennial Park (Champaign), and the Gators are scheduled to kick-off a full afternoon of music with a set from 1:00-2:00pm. Live entertainment, food vendors, hayrack rides, a variety of children's activities and much more will keep everyone entertained, so come early, bring the kids, and enjoy Harvest-Fest.
The Acoustic Fusion at Verde Gallery concert series is scheduled for the first and third Friday of each month. For more info. --
