The ISDC will meet twice a month on sunday afternoons in the Casino
Ballroom on the 4th floor of the Madame Wlaker Building in downtown
Indianapolis, IN. Dance lesons are 2-3pm, and open dancing runs from
3-6pm. (these are Indy times, one hour later than C-U times).
Meeting dates are: Nov 5th and 19th, Dec 3rd and 17th, Jan 7th and 21st,
Feb 4th and 18th, Mar 4th and 18th. A new round of dance lessons begins
on Nov 5th, with Cary Pettit teaching WCS Level 1 - Basic Fundamentals and
Don and Jean teaching WCS Level 2 - Tuck Turn vriations.
Admission for lesson and dance combined is $10 Members and $15
non-members. Non-members may try 2 sessions at the Member rate.
February will mark the club's first anniversary. There will be a big
celebration the weekend of February 4th.
The Madame Walker Theatre is located at 617 Indiana Avenue, Indianapolis,
IN (317) 236-2099. From I-65, exit #114 to West St. OR from I-70, exit
#79A to West St. Location at the corner of West & Indiana near downtown.
The Walker Building is a National historic Landmark building. The
Ballroom has a mirrored wall, disco ball, good lighting, and a great
hardwood floor. Additionally, a DJ will spin extra tunes from 7Pm to
midnight. (cost is usually $5). The Walker Theatre will also hold Latin
nights on Nov 11, and Dec 9.
