On Saturday Nov 11, the Tango Society of Central Illinois will hold its
monthly milonga at the Phillips Recreation Center. The milonga is from
8:30-11:30 PM and is preceded (7:30-8:30 PM) by an workshop for newcomers to
tango, given by visiting instructors Alberto Paz and Valorie Hart from Planet
Tango in New Orleans.
Admission to the workshop is $5 and includes admission to the milonga.
Admission to milonga only is $3. The Phillips Recreation Center is at the
corner of Springfield and McCullough in Urbana. The entrance and parking lot
are around the corner on Stoughton.
This is the 1st anniversary of the first milonga at the Philips Center. Come
and celebrate. Bring a newcomer to the introductory workshop. If you haven't
been to a milonga for a while, now is a good time to return.
