Miss V.(who is actually Aurora Villacorta)will hold a formal ballroom
dance at the Illini Union from 8-11pm, on April 30(Sunday). There will
be recorded music for virtually all types of dancing, like they usually do
at the Regent.
There is one caveat: you will face dancers that want to dance American
style, except for the quickstep, because Miss V. usually teaches in that
style in most dances.
Required dance attire is as follows:
Men
suit-and-tie, or tuxedo
Women
a formal or semi-formal dress
Obviously, like the Regent salsa nights, no jeans, gym shoes, or baseball
caps will be allowed in the dance.
