Hi Frank,

A way to check the error that triggered the termination of NAMD is to check
the MD.log in the out folder/run.

Without knowing precisely the error, I would suggest installing the beta
version of QwikMD (will be released in the VMD 1.9.4) located at
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/qwikmd/. Make sure that you download the
Windows version and follow the README instructions. Some issues were fixed
already in this version.

If this doesn't fix the issue, please search in the VMD-l or report back
the error printed in the log file.
