Parameterizing residues of a polymer

Dear all,

I am going to set up a system including a hyperbranched polymer. The
polymer consists of a core residue, internal ones and surface groups. I
want to know whether it is reasonable to parameterize core, internal, and
terminal residues separately using CGenFF and then link them together?

any answer will be appreciated.
