Portrait of Yunsen Zhang

I am a Ph.D. student specializing in Computational Biophysics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, conducting research within the Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Group under the supervision of Dr. Emad Tajkhorshid. My research focuses on bridging the gap between molecular modeling and artificial intelligence. Specifically, I develop and apply molecular dynamics simulations and machine learning algorithms to elucidate the mechanisms of macromolecular systems and accelerate structural biology and drug discovery.
