Riki Garvin has volunteered to act as the Dancing Illini Carpool
Coordinator for this semester. In the past, carpools were mainly found
via requests to the Dancing Illini Discuss list or by calling people
listed on the Dancing Illini phone list.
Often, though, people might not feel comfortable with asking a stranger
for a ride. This where the Carpool Coordinator comes into play. There
will now be a single person you can contact to arrange carpools for you
with members who are willing to give rides.
So, if you are willing to give rides on a regular basis or for specific
events, please contact Riki at egarvin@s.psych.uiuc.edu to let her know
you are available and provide her with contact information and any
restrictions if applicable.
If you need rides, please email Riki and she will do her best to find
someone to take you to whatever event is in question.
This service is geared more toward connecting rides with riders and
hopefully once a carpool is established, people can arrange their own.
