Are you and your friends interested in continuing a current
DI Dance Team or forming a new DI Dance Team for the summer term?

If so, team leaders need to submit a team-proposal for the summer term
to the Dancing Illini Officers. Such a proposal should include the
following information:

o A short explanation of the team's dance-related specialty and goals
o A (tentative) schedule of events. This would include the following:
practice schedule, performance dates (for DI functions,
the C-U community, and regional/ national dance events)
scheduled social outings (dance or otherwise), etc.
o A detailed budget.
o Requests to the Dancing Illini for aid, including:
funding, help in obtaining space, reservation of preformance time
at DI events, reservation of private lesson time with any visiting
DI workshop instructors, etc.

Please refer to the DI web page at http://www.uiuc.edu/ro/dancing/
You will find a lot helpful information regarding Dance teams in the DI
Bylaws, under the 1996-1997 budget, and especially in the Officers'
Administration Page under Dance Team Guidelines.

** Keep in mind that this does not need to be a huge dissertation, just a
concise organization of your needs and intentions... so the offiers' can
assist you easily, and club members are informed about what you're doing
and how to join.

Please send your questions and proposals to the officer e-mail list:
