We all hope you had a nice break, but when you come back, we are
going have quite a first weekend of dancing after the semester starts,
but before the crunch hits.
First, we are going to have a Swing dance on Friday January 24,
1997 from 11 pm - 1 am at the Regent Ballroom in Savoy. There will be a
DJ playing all your favorite swings of all types from westcoast to
jitturbug. There will be no cover charge for this.
Second, there will be a "Welcome Back Dance" on Saturday January
25, from 6 pm - 10 pm in Illini Rooms B & C. There will be a dance
lesson in basic cha cha and swing from 6 - 7 pm. Then there will be
dancing from 7 - 10 pm. This dance is also free. Feel free to bring your
friends along to show them how much fun dancing is.
