Hi everyone,
This summer, the Dancing Illini is holding several workshops to help train
members to become better dance teachers. We won't be learning anything
about steps, but rather, we'll be covering how to effectively teach dancing
and dance classes. The first of these workshops will be taught by David
Lin at the Regent on Sunday June 16 at the Regent, 2-4pm (was 3-5pm).
During the summer we will have other members give similar teacher training
workshops.
I'd like to invite you to join us for this - David is a good teacher and
has taken many lessons specifically in "how to teach", so he has a lot to
show us. The Dancing Illini is paying for it, so admission is free.
