Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
The Dancing Illini is continuing the semester with two beginner courses:
Salsa/Cha-Cha and Nightclub-2-step/Polka. For those with some dance
experience, we have Accelerated Hustle and West Coast Swing, Accelerated
Quickstep and Viennese Waltz, and 4-week Intermediate courses in Cha-Cha,
Samba, Waltz, and Tango. Repeat students are welcome in all classes.
You don't need a partner and beginner classes are FREE the first week, so
come to the McKinley Church Basement March 16 and 18 and give it a try!
Please note: CLASSES DO NOT MEET DURING SPRING BREAK (MARCH 23-27)

Beginner Nightclub 2-step & Polka
Mondays, 6:00-7:15pm, 6 weeks starting March 16 in church basement
taught by Tanja & Jim, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, first week FREE
Accelerated Hustle & West Coast Swing
Mondays, 7:30-8:45pm, 6 weeks starting March 16 in church basement
taught by Shaun & Silke, partnered dance experience recommended

Intermediate Waltz
Mondays, 7:15-8:45pm, 4 weeks starting March 9 on *Foundation 2nd floor*
taught by Wei & Feida, partnered dance experience recommended
Intermediate Tango follows in this time slot starting April 13
Most courses meet in McKinley Foundation Church Basement (5th & John).
Intermediate Waltz meets upstairs at the Foundation (5th & Daniel).
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. Try classes FREE the first week.
Your $30 membership (or $35 registration if non-UIUC) entitles you to
one 6/4-week course. Additional courses in the same semester are $20.
Prices are per person; there is no couples discount. Please be
prepared to pay by the start of the second class.
EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL: Save $5 on membership if you pay the first week!
Want to get all your Dancing Illini classes for free? Volunteer some
of your time and enthusiasm as an officer! There are lots of positions
available and elections are coming up soon. If you are interested
please email dancing at illinois dot edu and we'll find you a job.
Where We Dance:
The Regent Ballroom has ballroom dancing most Fridays, 8-11pm, $8.
The music covers every dance we teach, so join your DI friends at the
